Your browser should display ``g'' and ``p'' as Greek letters ``gamma'' and ``pi''. If not, it means the symbol font has not been loaded. If you are running Netscape under Xwindows (or some variant thereof) on Unix (or some variant thereof) you should do the following:

1. Edit the .Xdefaults file in your home directory, to add the following line:
   Netscape*documentFonts.charset*adobe-fontspecific: iso-8859-1
2. Then run the command
   xrdb ~/.Xdefaults
3. Then restart your browser.
